Our E-Coating Capabilities

As an all-around hardware manufacturer, XML delivers flawless, high-adhesion e-coating solutions designed for extreme corrosion protection on your complex CNC machined parts.

Cathodic Epoxy E-Coating

The ultimate solution for extreme corrosion resistance. Our epoxy-based e-coating creates a tough, highly adhesive primer layer. It is the global standard for automotive parts and heavy industrial components operating in harsh, corrosive environments.

Cathodic Epoxy E-Coating

Cathodic Acrylic E-Coating

Perfect for decorative and exposed components. Unlike epoxy, our acrylic e-coating provides excellent UV resistance and color stability. It serves as a durable, stand-alone topcoat for consumer electronics, architectural hardware, and premium outdoor gear.

E-coating is a wet bath process using electrical current, allowing the paint to penetrate extremely small holes and complex cavities with perfect uniformity. Powder coating is a dry spray process that provides a thicker, highly scratch-resistant outer layer but struggles to reach deep internal areas (Faraday cage effect).

A standard e-coat finish is extremely thin and precise, typically ranging from 15 μm to 30 μm. This ultra-thin profile means it rarely interferes with your critical CNC machining tolerances or precise internal threads.

Yes. Epoxy e-coating is primarily used as an unbeatable anti-corrosion primer before powder coating or liquid painting. Acrylic e-coating provides excellent UV resistance and is frequently used as a durable, visually appealing standalone topcoat.

While the industry standard for industrial e-coating is black (which we highly recommend for maximum performance and cost-efficiency), our acrylic e-coating lines can be formulated in various custom colors depending on your project's specific volume and aesthetic requirements.
